What is a Crisis?
A crisis is any time in which you are feeling intense difficulty, trouble, or danger. You do not have to have any previous mental health issues or be suicidal to be in a crisis. If you are in a stressful situation that disrupts your everyday life, then that’s considered a crisis. There are many ways to deal with crises, one of which is calling or texting a crisis intervention hotline, in which you can speak anonymously to a trained professional who will help you through your crisis.
