Our Vision and Mission
Vision: The Milpitas MCHS will provide an opportunity for students to work as a community of collaborative problem solvers while engaging in a challenging and stimulating curriculum to prepare them to be change agents in the broader community.
Mission: The Milpitas MCHS offers a supportive environment and small classes that combines an Honors high school curriculum and college coursework aligned to a student selected pathway.
Goal 1: All MMCHS students will receive personalized, standards-based instruction by highly qualified and supportive teachers which will lead to all students earning the designation of college/career ready as defined by the California School Dashboard.
Goal 2: Provide student opportunities for work based learning and relevant experience in student selected pathways including, but not limited to work based learning experiences within the curriculum to increase instructional relevance investment from students.
Goal 3: Increase language support in all classes as MMCHS increase teacher proficiency with the implementation of English Language Development Standards through targeted professional development.
Goal 4: Provide leadership training for all students with explicit skill instruction with regard to presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
Goal 5: Create a community among stakeholders and establish regular opportunities for parental involvement.
